Gold Standard, the organizer of the event, is a Swiss-based organization founded in 2003 by a group of nonprofits. Its mission is to support efforts to mitigate human impacts on climate through robust standards and verified impacts. Gold Standard’s work spans across 100 countries and has created over USD 36 billion in shared value for climate action and sustainable development.
