EDW Group, which includes carbon management firm TEAM Energy and EDW Technology, has become carbon neutral in support of its goal to be net zero by 2030. The group’s carbon neutral status is underpinned by a 1.5°C trajectory for reducing emissions and initiatives that include removing employee commuting barriers and investing in carbon offsetting. Projects selected to offset 100% of the group’s emissions, aligned with EDW’s values, included a biomass power project in Chhattisgarh, India, and a wind power project in Rajasthan. The group’s investment into the projects helped save 333 tonnes of CO2, equivalent to its carbon emissions over the previous financial year.EDW is focused on reducing scope emissions by moving to renewable electricity and implementing a green procurement policy and net zero IT services.
