ShiftCarbon, formerly Tracesafe, has introduced a range of carbon-offset projects in its product range. The Indonesian and Brazilian projects focus on REDD+, which is designed to protect and restore forests to maintain biodiversity and support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Significantly, the projects will reduce carbon emissions, and support local communities’ livelihoods. The new carbon-offset projects have been verified by the Gold Standard, Verra’s Verified Carbon Standard and the enhanced Community and Biodiversity Standards.
