Verra is inviting applications from individuals who wish to join its Program Advisory Group (PAG) for the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program. This program is designed to ensure the transparency and rigor of the VCS standards, and to ensure that the program is implemented in a consistent and effective manner. The PAG will provide technical advice and guidance to the VCS Program and its stakeholders, helping to ensure that the program meets the highest standards of quality and integrity.
The PAG will include experts from the fields of climate change, carbon markets, and other related disciplines. The PAG will provide guidance on the development and implementation of the VCS standards, and will review and provide feedback on the program’s technical documents. The PAG will also advise on the development of the program’s policies and procedures, and will provide general advice on the program’s operations.
