Dubai’s FIVE Hotels & Resorts has announced bookings are available for its privately-owned Airbus ACJ TwoTwenty jet, 9H-FIVE, for a cost of $14,000 an hour. The bespoke aircraft offers unique luxury travel amenities including a dining table that can seat up to eight people, high-speed internet, two 55″ screens, an iPad Pro for each passenger, an in-flight shower and a king-sized bed in the master suite. The aircraft has 73 sq m of floor space, with seating for between 15 and 16 passengers. Comlux, the Swiss aviation firm, will operate the aircraft under the carrier’s Maltese 9H air operator certificates. Despite the environmental concerns surrounding private air travel, demand for these luxe-travel options has largely sustained.
